Meet The Team of Tatulli & Associates

Our team of experts are here to help your company with all your accounting, tax and financial planning needs. Each member of Tatulli & Associates has years of diverse experience and brings a unique perspective to both the Firm as well as our clients.

Our Key Personnel:

Vito Tatulli – Managing Partner

Vito began his career in 1983 at the “Big 8” accounting firm of Arthur Anderson and Co. in Roseland, NJ. He was a Director with the accounting firm of Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP in the New York Tri-State Area for over fourteen years. In May of 2000, he was hired by Deloitte and Touché to be the practice leader in charge of their New Jersey Private Client Advisor Practice. In January of 2004, after over twenty years of providing tax and financial planning services to clients in the world of “Big 4” accounting, Vito established his own private practice, Tatulli & Associates, LLC.

His tax and financial planning background make him uniquely qualified to handle complex personal and business taxation and financial planning issues. Vito is a graduate of Seton Hall University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also holds a Masters in Taxation Degree from the W. Paul Stillman School of Business – Seton Hall, has attended Fairleigh Dickinson University to complete his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Certificate education curriculum and is currently pursuing his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification. Vito is an Enrolled Agent, an Accredited Tax Preparer, as well as, an Accredited Tax Planner. He is a member in good standing of numerous accounting associations, such as the National Society of Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals and the Society of State Accountants. He has conducted numerous speaking engagements and has had articles featured in both national and local journals and business publications.

Kathleen King – Chief Operating Officer

Kathy, an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, has been with Tatulli & Associates since its inception. Prior to helping establish Tatulli & Associates, Kathy was the Controller for Exceptional Parent Magazine, a publishing company located in Hackensack, New Jersey. Kathy also worked as a senior accountant for Scholastic, Inc. headquartered in the New York/New Jersey Tri-State area.

Kathy is the Chief Operating Officer at Tatulli & Associates where part of her responsibilities involve managing, directing and administering all aspects of the daily business operations of the firm. In addition, her duties include corporate and individual tax planning and compliance, as well as, preparing payroll tax returns and providing monthly and quarterly accounting and bookkeeping services to the clients of Tatulli & Associates, LLC.

Kathy is a graduate of Fairfield University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business, majoring in both Finance and Accounting.

Joseph Angelli – Director

Joe is a licensed CPA with over 20 years of public accounting experience. Joe previously worked with Rogoff & Company, PC in Manhattan and was also an equity partner with the firm of Oram, Yelon & Bernstein, P.C. also located in New York City.

His accounting background makes him uniquely qualified to handle complex business and personal taxation issues. He specializes in the preparation of partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns.

Joe has worked extensively with business clients in transitional periods of growth. He has handled all aspects of these projects including cost control, system upgrades, personnel changes and start-up.

Joe graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Joe is a current member of the New York State and New Jersey Societies of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA.

Michael Kromer – Manager

Michael is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 12 years of public accounting experience. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton where he majored in both Accounting and Finance.

Prior to joining our practice, Michael was a senior associate with Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, a public accounting firm in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and worked with Rubino & McGeehin, Certified Public Accountants located in Washington, D.C.

Michael’s experience includes providing in depth tax planning and compliance services to high net worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, not-for-profits, and private foundations. He also has significant audit experience assisting clients with difficult accounting issues and analyzing internal control systems.

Michael J. Iannaconi, III – Manager

Michael is a twenty year veteran in the public accounting arena who specializes in corporate accounting for small and middle market companies. Mike previously served as an audit manager for Deloitte & Touché, where he focused on both large and emerging companies in the manufacturing and service industry.

Michael’s diverse accounting background makes him exceptionally qualified to handle both complex business and personal taxation issues. He specializes in the preparation of all corporate, partnership, individual tax planning and compliance.

A graduate of Pace University, Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting. He has been an adjunct professor at William Paterson University. Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Kayla Trygar – Associate

Kayla began her accounting career in 2015 as an intern with the Accounting Firm of Tatulli & Associates, LLC. She continued her employment while pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA). In May of 2017 Kayla successfully attained her MBA Degree and became a full time Associate with our Firm.

Kayla's experience over these last three years has been extensive and included providing comprehensive tax planning and compliance services to individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trust. In addition, Kayla has been acutely involved, alongside a manager from our firm, in performing detailed tax planning for high net worth corporate executives while specifically providing support surrounding their company’s nonqualified and incentive stock options and conducting the requisite tax forecasting to calculate their regular and alternative minimum tax liabilities in order to provide tax efficient exercise and hold strategies to help mitigate taxes and grow wealth.

Her educational background and concentrated experience with our firm makes her uniquely qualified to handle the complex corporate and personal tax and accounting issues that our clients are faced with on a daily basis.

Kayla is a graduate of Marywood University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting as well as her Master of Business Administration (MBA). She is currently pursuing her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification.
